Usual exporting problem: Export from Xcelsius to SWF? :(
I asked this question before and resolved it. However, the issue about exporting my Dashboard into .SWF comes up every month when I try to publish my dashboard and its becoming frustrating 
.
"Could not generate the Flash file (SWF); the cause is not known. Try again, if the problem persists, contact your customer support representative".
Solutions I used before:
1.Re-boot computer.
2. Re-start Xcelsius.
3. Reduce formula ranges for my Index Match formulas.
4. Click somewhere in the canvas.
This time I have tried all of the above solutions, replaced some simple VLOOKUP formulas to INDEXmatch, deleted tab sheets that I'm not using anymore and tried generating the SWF multiple times with no sucess.
I've read that I have to recreate everything from scratch? Timewise this is the worst case scenario.
Any other possible methods?

Crystal Dashboard dashboard give Error cannot access external data error #2032

We configured SAP Dashboards to SAP Business One on Hana, following steps from
But, still getting below error:
cannot access external data:
An error has occurred.
For more information, contact the file creator or your system
administrator.
Error: Error #2032
Connection Type: XML Data
We already try following steps to solve this problem:
a) Add the crossdomain.xml file to the location:
1. Tomcat installation folder-> webapps->ROOT
2. Restart the Tomcat server .
b)
1.In toolbar of the Microsoft Windows Internet Explorer, choose Tools -> Internet Options. The Internet Options window appears.
2.In the Settings section of the Advanced tab, navigate to the Security list, and deselect the checkbox Do not save encrypted pages to disk.
2.Save your change.
c) Root cause 1: Incorrect setting in Server Manager
Solution 1: Start "Server Manager"-> Under the "security
information section, click on the Configure IE ESC" link and Turn off for
Administrators.
d) Root cause 2: Improper IE setting
Solution 2: In toolbar of the Microsoft Windows Internet
Explorer, choose Tools -> Internet Options. In the
Settings section of the Advanced tab, navigate to the

Issue with Dashboard Query promotion between environments
Hi,
I have an issue with a BO/Dashboard query promotion from one environment to the other.
I have several dashboard queries created from several BW cube connections, this was already promoted from Dev -> Test -> Prod and was working fine. Client has upgraded from BO4.0 SP4 to BO4.0 SP6 recently. To fix an issue with one of the dashboard queries I made the change in Dev environment and promoted to Test. Promotion is successful. But when I launch the dashboard, I get a error
When I try to refresh the BO Query from dashboard designer client ( open from Platform), I get the following error.
I tried multiple times promoting from one environment to other, I get the same error. If I delete the query and re-create it works fine in Test environment. But it is failing only with the LCM process. This happens only with queries from a single infocube.
Any idea if it is an issue with the cube connection or LCM process. what could be the reason?
Any suggestions are welcome.

Issue with Parent child dashboards using SWFLoader component
Hello Gurus,
I am using Parent-child dashboards approach in our project.
I have multiple child files embedded in Parent dashboard using the SWFLoader (directly passing the URL as SWFLoader value) to load child dashboards. All the child, parent swf's are saved in the same intranet folders.
When I open the parent SWF, everything loads fine in the intranet.
But for some users, when they open from the intranet, the child dashboard doesnt load up properly or size of the dashboard gets reduced to a small version. (Iam sure that it has nothing to do with the access/privileges)
Any thoughts/ideas what could be causing an issue with child dashboard/resizing of the child dashboard.
Please help!

SAP CRYSTAL DASHBOARD DESIGN 2011 - runtime error
Dear community members out there,
I've a question concerning a problem to get SAP Crystal Dashboard Desing 2001 up and running.
I downloaded the free test version some days ago and tried to start it.
After the announcment how many days are left I immediately get an fault report saying:

SAP Crystal Report
Is it possible to modify the uploaded online report like a teamviewer application that they can amend without accessing the admin file. Is that achievable or is there any work around for this?

Dashboard Properties Page Not Displayed
We are running into problems that the dashboard designer client no longer displays the properties page for any component.
This occurs on some, not all desktops. We are on BI4 SP04 Patch 2. They were working fine but no more. We use 3 monitors and so suspect the properties panel is 'lost' in display lala land. We have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, next step is to get into windows registry. Interested if anyone has had this problem and how to correct/avoid this problem.

Error "Unable to Load URL" in Dashboard Design 4.1 SP2 while create web service connection
Hello Experts,
I am using SAP BO Dashboard Design 4.1 SP2.
I have create one web Intelligence report and from it i create web services url using of publish data feature.
when I use this url to create Web service(Qaaws) connection in dashboard It is showing me error " Unable to Load URL "
URL is working fine in browser in server system where i install SAP BO 4.2 but it is not working in my system where i installed dashboard design.
Please suggest how do i make connection using of this URL in dashboard.
Do i miss something or doing wrong ? then guide me.

Trouble with ESRI Maps for BI Dashboards
Hello, I'm a new user of ESRI Maps for BI Dashboards. I decided for my first attempt at creating a map that I would simply use the sample state and revenue data used in the ESRI instructions here: Location types—Esri Maps for SAP BusinessObjects | Location Analytics. So I created that data in my BI Dashboards spreadsheet component and bound the data as a datasource. ESRI Maps Designer sees the datasource and i seemingly can connect to it but I get no location type showing on the page that asks how location is represented in my data. According to the instructions, there should be a list of location types here. If I try to add a location type from the link on that page and create one from the general US States type that I find, I still get no map data after going through all of the data mapping process. I figure I'm missing something simple but for the life of me I can't find it. Anyone else had this problem and found a solution? Thanks for your assistance!

Dashboard with QaaWS - cannot access external data
Hi all,
I built a dashboard with 3 qaaws, all based on one universe which is base on one bw-query.
All works fine for the group: Administrators.
If I take the Users out of the Adminstrators group, i get the message that the external data cannot be accessed. No Error # or so is displayed.
Even if I grant the usergroup Full Control on the QaaWS, the Universe, the Connection and the Dashboard itself, it does not work.
We use BO 4.0 SP01 FP11.
As far as I can see is, that it can't be a Network (Firewall)-Problem, because it works for the memebers of the Adminstration groups - What else can it be?

Unable to access Web Service from Dashboard
We are using WebService to fetch data from Dashboard and write it back to a database. The dashboard works fine when the webservice is deployed in the local machine. But it is thorwing "Cannot Access External Data" error when the webservice is deployed on a different server.
FYI,we have used the crossdomain.xml file.
(*Note : The webservice and dashboard are in different domains)

I recently purchased dashboards version (6.0.4.0). I'm facing issues opening the .xlf files in this version.
error mesaage says "File was created in newer version.Upgrade to latest version (%2)"
I tried changing the xml file but it did not work.

Query Browser - How to hardcode the BO Login credentials
Hi,
I need to create a Dashboard using Dashboards 4.0 using the Query Browser for Data Connections.
1) I did build the queries in Dashboards 4.0 using the query browser.
2) Then i have mapped these queries to the Charts.
3) Now i have generated the .swf file by exporting the dashboard.
4) So now when i open this .swf file It is asking for the BO Credentials.
However the customer says that it should not prompt the BO Credentials when this .swf file is opened.
So how to implement this requirement in Dashboards 4.0 with Query Browser.
Any one knows how to achieve this,please do the needful at the earliest.
